A Srinagar-bound SpiceJet flight on its way from Delhi to Srinagar on Friday had to make a priority landing after a mid-air emergency. The incident happened when a warning about cabin pressure was triggered during the flight, creating concern for the safety of everyone on board. Airline officials said that the aircraft, identified as flight SG 385, began to descend quickly while approaching Srinagar as a precaution.
On August 29, 2025, SpiceJet flight SG 385 from Delhi to Srinagar had to descend quickly during its approach after a cabin altitude warning went off. Following standard procedures, the crew performed all required checks, and the captain requested a priority landing as a precaution," a SpiceJet spokesperson stated.
The plane touched down safely in Srinagar, and both passengers and crew got off without any problems," the spokesperson said. No one was injured, and the aircraft will go through a technical inspection before its next flight.
